Your day begins with an early morning pickup from your Arequipa hotel as we journey toward Colca Valley. Our first stop is the charming town of Chivay, where you’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast featuring local ingredients to fuel your adventure. then we’ll visit the picturesque villages of Yanque and Maca, where you’ll admire their beautiful colonial churches and natural viewpoints overlooking the valley.
The highlight comes at Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, where you’ll witness the majestic flight of Andean condors over the deep canyon. We’ll also stop at Wayrapunko and Antahuilque viewpoints to see ancient pre-Inca agricultural terraces, with an optional relaxing soak at La Calera hot springs.

ITINERARY TOUR

Your Colca Canyon tour begins with an early morning pickup from your Arequipa hotel. You’ll travel in comfortable transportation through Andean landscapes under a starry sky, preparing for a day full of natural wonders.
At dawn, you’ll arrive in the picturesque town of Chivay, where you’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast with local products. Then, you’ll head to the famous Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, stopping along the way in the traditional villages of Yanque and Maca, where you’ll admire their charming colonial churches and natural viewpoints with panoramic valley views.
The highlight will be your arrival at Cruz del Cóndor, where you’ll be amazed by the canyon’s depth and the majestic flight of the Andean condor, the world’s largest bird. You’ll have plenty of time to photograph this natural spectacle from different angles while learning about its ecological and cultural importance.
On the return to Chivay, you’ll visit the Wayrapunko and Antahuilque viewpoints, where you’ll observe ancient pre-Inca agricultural terraces and the beginning of the imposing Colca Canyon. You’ll have the option to relax in the mineral-rich La Calera hot springs in Yanque, ideal for rejuvenation.
