Cusco City Tour Half Day

We will begin the Cusco City Tour with pick-up from your hotel located in the historic center of Cusco or from a previously coordinated meeting point. Together with our professional guide, you will start this cultural experience through the most representative places of the ancient capital of the Inca Empire.

The first visit will be Cusco Cathedral, one of the most important colonial monuments in the city. Inside, you will appreciate religious art, chapels, altars and details that show the cultural fusion between the Andean world and the colonial period. Then, we will continue to Qorikancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun, one of the most sacred temples of the Inca Empire and a perfect example of the connection between Inca architecture and colonial history.

After visiting the historic center, we will board our tourist transportation and head to the upper part of Cusco to explore Sacsayhuamán, one of the most impressive archaeological sites near the city, famous for its enormous stone walls and panoramic views of Cusco. The tour will continue with visits to Qenqo, an ancient ceremonial center carved in stone; Puka Pukara, also known as the Red Fortress; and Tambomachay, a site associated with water worship and Inca ceremonial traditions.

At the end of the experience, we will return to the city of Cusco. In regular group service, the tour usually ends near the Main Square or in the historic center, while in private service, the drop-off can be coordinated directly at your hotel.
