Itinerary
START
Departure time: 8:00 amÂ
In the morning, at the agreed time, our tourist transportation will pick you up from your hotel to begin your Moray and Salt Mines Tour adventure.
Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful landscapes surrounded by impressive glaciers. The Moray and Salt Mines Tour starts in the city of Cusco, and after approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes, we will pass through the town of Maras, where you can admire its streets and colonial-style gateways.
After that, we will visit the experimental agricultural terraces of Moray. This site features a group of circular agricultural terraces that reach up to 150 meters in depth, built on natural hills. According to historians, Moray was an Inca agricultural laboratory. It has its own irrigation channels, and each terrace level creates a different microclimate. The average annual temperature between the upper part and the deepest level can vary by as much as 15°C.
To finish your Moray and Salt Mines Tour, we will visit the impressive Maras Salt Mines, which include around 2,000 salt pools. Today, these salt mines are still worked by local families.
At the end of the visit, at approximately 2:00 pm, we will return to our transportation and then head back to the city of Cusco, where our tourist transport will drop you off in the city center, or at your hotel if you are traveling on a private service.

IMPORTANT:
- This tour ends at approximately 2:00 pm, leaving you with a free afternoon. Do not miss the opportunity to visit the Qosqo Center of Native Art, which offers a show featuring traditional dances from the region. The performance begins at 6:00 pm, but since it is a very popular venue, we recommend arriving at least 40 minutes early.
- Admission is S/. 25.00. If you have the General Tourist Ticket, admission is already included.

The tour lasts approximately 6 hours. It begins in the morning with pickup from your hotel and ends around 2:00 pm in the city of Cusco.
