Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, it is essential to bring the original passport you used for your booking. This is required for hotel check-ins, the Nazca Lines flight, and boarding the intercity buses.
The best time is during the dry season, from May to October. During these months, the weather in the Ica and Nazca regions is sunny and pleasant, with minimal wind, which is ideal for the Nazca Lines flight and dune buggy activities.
In Ica and Nazca, the weather is generally warm year-round. From May to October, temperatures range between 25°C and 35°C (77°F to 95°F) with clear skies. From November to April, it remains warm but can be more humid with occasional cloudiness.
Yes, we strongly recommend booking at least 48 to 72 hours in advance. This ensures availability for the Nazca Lines flight and the Cruz del Sur bus seats, which tend to sell out quickly.
This is a 2-day, 1-night tour. You depart Lima early on Day 1 and return in the evening of Day 2, covering approximately 14 to 15 hours of activity each day including travel time.
Since the tour involves intercity bus travel, you are generally allowed one carry-on bag and one checked suitcase (max 20kg). We recommend traveling light or leaving your main luggage at your hotel in Lima if possible.
While there are clinics in the cities of Ica and Nazca, access is limited during the desert activities. We recommend bringing personal medications and having travel insurance that covers medical assistance.
