Itinerary
Upon your arrival at the Cusco airport, our team will welcome you to begin the journey to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. This route is ideal for starting the acclimatization process in a calmer way, as the Sacred Valley is located at a lower altitude than the city of Cusco.
During the tour, you will visit the archaeological center of Pisac, one of the most representative places in the Sacred Valley, where you will discover agricultural terraces, Inca constructions, and impressive Andean landscapes. Then you will continue to your hotel in the Sacred Valley to rest and prepare for the next day.
Overnight: Sacred Valley.
After breakfast, you will begin a cultural route through some of the most important places in the Sacred Valley. First, you will visit Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inca center known for its monumental terraces, stone streets, and great historical value.
Then you will continue to the Maras Salt Mines, a unique landscape formed by hundreds of salt pools that are still worked in a traditional way. Later, you will visit Moray, known as the agricultural laboratory of the Incas for its circular terraces and microclimates. To finish the day, you will arrive in Chinchero, famous for its textile tradition, living history, and views of the Andes.
Overnight: Cusco.
Very early, our private transportation will take you from your hotel to the train station. From there, you will board the panoramic train to Aguas Calientes, enjoying Andean landscapes, mountains, rivers, and valleys along the way.
Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will take the tourist bus up to the entrance gate of Machu Picchu. Together with your private guide, you will explore the most important sectors of the Inca citadel, with clear explanations about its history, architecture, and cultural significance. The recommended entrance is Circuit 2, subject to availability, as it is usually one of the most requested circuits because it offers a more complete experience of the citadel.
After the guided tour, you will return to Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch and take the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our private transportation will take you back to Cusco.
