After breakfast, your private guide and transportation will take you through several of the Sacred Valley’s most important cultural and archaeological destinations.

The first principal visit will be Ollantaytambo, an Inca settlement recognized for its monumental terraces, stone structures, ceremonial areas and preserved streets. Your guide will explain the historical importance of the site and its strategic position within the Sacred Valley.

You will then continue to the Maras Salt Mines, where thousands of salt pools extend across the mountainside. Local families continue to use traditional methods to collect salt from the natural saline water that flows through the complex.

The itinerary continues to Moray, an archaeological site formed by circular agricultural terraces. Afterward, you will visit Chinchero, a traditional Andean community known for its archaeological remains, textile heritage and mountain scenery.

At the end of the excursion, you will be transferred to your selected hotel in Cusco.

Early in the morning, private transportation will take you from your hotel to the corresponding train station. You will board the Vistadome panoramic train and travel through the Sacred Valley toward Machu Picchu Pueblo, also known as Aguas Calientes.

Upon arrival, you will receive assistance before boarding the tourist bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

Inside the archaeological site, your private guide will lead you through the route assigned to your entrance ticket. You will learn about Inca architecture, agricultural terraces, ceremonial spaces, construction techniques and the historical importance of the sanctuary.

The specific Machu Picchu route depends on availability when the reservation is confirmed. Circuit 2 may be requested when available, but it should not be guaranteed before the corresponding ticket has been issued.

After the guided visit, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes and enjoy the included lunch. Later, you will board the train back to the Sacred Valley, where private transportation will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Cusco.
