DAY 1: ARRIVAL – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS.
Starting our great adventure Luxury Machu Picchu Private Tour and 3 nights we will go on our way to the sacred valley of the Incas, where we will visit a beautiful Andean zoo where we can see different animals from this region of Peru, such as the famous condor, puma, spectacled bear, vicunas, llamas, and many more.
After this adventure, we will have a guided tour of the archaeological site of Pisaq located at the top of the mountain of the same name.

DAY 1: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS
- A representative of KANTU PERU TOURS will be waiting for you at the international airport of Cusco.
- You will be taken to your hotel and then through the beautiful sacred valley of the Incas, where we can visit and enjoy magical places like the visit of the Andean zoo, where we can enjoy the beautiful flight of the condor, the puma, the spectacled bear and more,
- Then we will visit the archeological site of Pisaq, located at the top of the mountain of the same name, where we will have a guided visit, before going to our hotel located in the “The Incas’ Sacred Valley”.

DAY 2: OLLANTAYTAMBO, MARAS MORAY AND CHINCHERO.
- Early in the morning, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast in our hotel, and then start our adventure accompanied by our private guide.
- First, we will visit the beautiful archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, with a guided tour that will take us to the past and live a fantastic experience.
- After this, we will visit the famous Salineras of Maras, which until today, are still irrigated by an underground spring of salt water, and immediately after, we will discover an old agricultural laboratory called Moray, built by the Incas from the beginning.
- Last but not least, we will visit the picturesque and traditional town of Chinchero, where you can still see its famous Inca customs.

DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU
- The tour begins by picking you up from your hotel early in the morning, where a representative of KANTU PERU TOURS will wait for us and take us to the train station, where we will travel for an hour and forty-five minutes, to the town of “Aguas Calientes”,
- Enjoying the scenery through the panoramic windows of our first-class train.
- Once we reach the town of Aguas Calientes, we will take a tourist bus that will take us to the entrance gate of Machupicchu, where we will begin our guided tour for 2 hours, visiting the most important places within the Inca city, and of course, accompanied by our private tour guide.
- Then we will have free time to explore Machupicchu on our own, and likewise, we will have to take the bus back to “Aguas Calientes” where we can enjoy a delicious lunch in one of our exclusive restaurants.
- In the afternoon we will take our train back to Ollantaytambo station, where a representative of KANTU PERU TOURS will take us back to the imperial city of Cusco, arriving at night at our exclusive hotel.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH MY LUGGAGE BEFORE WE START THE MACHU PICCHU PRIVATE TOUR?
It is important to know that you don’t need to carry all your suitcases during these two days, therefore, for this Humantay Lake to Machu Picchu adventure you can leave your big suitcases in the hotel in Cusco or we can store them for you in our office as long as you show us what important things you are leaving with us.
ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS FOR THE MACHU PICCHU TOUR?
Yes, visits to Machu Picchu are regulated by a programmed circuit in one direction with no option to return. Since January 1, 2019, re-entry to Machu Picchu is not allowed unless your ticket includes Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain.
HOW ARE THE QUEUES FOR THE BUSES FROM AGUAS CALIENTES TO MACHU PICCHU MANAGED?
It is possible that you may have to queue to board the buses from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu and vice versa, especially during peak season. Our guide will provide suggestions for managing your time appropriately.

WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT ALTITUDE SICKNESS?
Cusco City is located at a considerable elevation, and many people who land in Cusco, start feeling some altitude sickness. Therefore, we advise you to visit your doctor to prescribe medicine for the altitude.
CAN I CLIMB HUAYNA PICCHU AND MACHU PICCHU MOUNTAIN?
Yes, you can. To climb Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu mountains there is a limit, only 400 hundred people can climb Huaynapicchu and 800 hundred people can climb Machu Picchu mountain. Therefore, when you book the tour, you have to be sure about it. Because the reservations for either mountain must be several months in advance. There is an extra fee of 65 dollars to book one mountain.
You won’t get the ticket for either mountain in Aguas Calientes town at the last time. You’ll be able to re-enter again to Machu Picchu city. Hence, you have one chance to explore Machu Picchu on your own.
