Overnight in Lima.

In the afternoon, we will begin a fascinating tour of the most emblematic places in Lima, a city where history and modernity coexist in perfect harmony. At the scheduled time, our team will pick you up from your hotel to start this unforgettable experience that will allow you to discover the best of the Peruvian capital.

We will begin by exploring the elegant districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, admiring their lively streets, flowery parks, and panoramic views of the imposing Pacific Ocean. Our first stop will be at the enigmatic Huaca Pucllana, an ancient pre-Inca temple that stands majestic in the middle of the modern city. This archaeological site will allow us to travel back in time and discover the secrets of the cultures that inhabited the Peruvian coast centuries before the Inca Empire.

We will continue to the Historic Center of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where its impressive colonial buildings, carved balconies, and majestic churches will captivate you. We will stroll through the Plaza Mayor, the political and religious heart of the city, and the elegant Plaza San Martin, surrounded by monuments that evoke Peru's glorious republican past.

This tour is an invitation to feel the essence of Lima: its history, its culture, and its vibrant energy. At the end of the tour, we will take you back to your hotel, culminating an afternoon full of discoveries and charm.

Overnight in Lima.

Early in the morning, between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m., we will pick you up at your hotel in Lima to begin a day full of adventure, nature, and unforgettable landscapes. Get ready to experience a spectacular day that combines the mystery of the ocean with the thrill of the Peruvian desert.

Our first stop will be the Paracas National Reserve, where we will board a speedboat for an approximately two-hour tour of the Ballestas Islands. During the tour, you can admire the famous Paracas Candelabra and enjoy an unparalleled natural spectacle: pelicans, sea lions, boobies, and the charming Humboldt penguins will accompany you on this marine journey. It will be a fascinating experience that will connect you with the wildlife of the Peruvian Pacific.

At the end of the excursion, we will continue our journey to the charming Huacachina Oasis, a magical place surrounded by immense golden dunes that contrast with the green mirror of the lagoon. Here, you will experience a dose of pure adrenaline by hopping on a dune buggy for an exciting, fast-paced ride. And if you dare, you can try sandboarding, sliding down the gigantic sand dunes that reach heights of up to 25 stories. An unmissable experience for adventure lovers!

After so much excitement, we will visit a traditional vineyard and winery in the Ica Valley, where you will learn about the production process of wine and pisco, Peru's national pride. In addition, you will enjoy a tasting of their artisanal products, discovering the authentic flavors that characterize this region.

At the end of the day, we will start our return to Lima, enjoying the sunset over the coastal desert. You will arrive with a heart full of excitement and a mind full of memories of a truly unforgettable day.

Overnight in Lima.

We will start the day with an early transfer from your hotel in Lima to the airport, where you will board your flight to Cusco, the legendary capital of the Inca Empire. During the journey, you will be able to enjoy the imposing views of the Andes Mountains, a perfect prelude to the magic that awaits you in this historic city.

Upon your arrival in Cusco, our team will be waiting to give you a warm welcome and assist you with the transfer to your hotel. You will have time to rest, acclimatize to the 3,400 meters above sea level (11,150 ft), and prepare to start your first experience in the city of Cusco.

In the afternoon, around 1:00 p.m., our guide will pick you up from your hotel to start the City Tour, a fascinating introduction to the living history of the ancient Inca capital. We will begin with the imposing Cusco Cathedral, which houses an extraordinary collection of colonial art, including paintings from the famous Cusco School. We will then visit the Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha, the most important religious site of the Inca Empire, famous for its fine architecture and the remains of gold-covered walls.

We will continue the tour to the impressive archaeological complexes surrounding the city: Sacsayhuaman, a majestic fortress built with enormous stone blocks; Q’enqo, an ancient sanctuary carved into limestone; Puca Pucara, a military fortress that protected access to Cusco; and Tambomachay, known as the "Inca Bath" for its ceremonial water channels and fountains.

The tour will end at approximately 6:00 p.m., returning to the center of Cusco. You can use the evening to continue exploring its cobblestone streets, enjoy its lively atmosphere, or taste a typical dinner in one of its charming restaurants.

Overnight in Cusco.

After breakfast, at the previously coordinated time, we will pick you up at your hotel to begin one of the most emblematic routes of the trip: the impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Our first stop will be at a natural viewpoint, from where you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the valley and the majestic Andean mountains that surround it — an ideal place to take unforgettable photos.

Then, we will arrive at the picturesque town of Pisac, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley. From there, we will ascend to the top of the mountain to explore its imposing archaeological center, an ancient complex that offers agricultural terraces, temples, and unique views of the valley.

Returning to the town, we will visit the traditional Pisac artisan market, famous for its colors and the talent of its artisans, who work with great mastery in minerals, textiles, and ceramics. It is the perfect place to purchase authentic, handmade souvenirs.

We will continue our journey along the Vilcanota River until we reach Urubamba, where a delicious buffet lunch will await us in a typical restaurant, featuring a variety of dishes that highlight the best of Andean and Peruvian cuisine.

With renewed energy, we will head towards Ollantaytambo, known as the last living Inca town. Here we will visit its majestic archaeological center, a monumental construction that protected access to the valley. Its terraces, temples, and fountains demonstrate the high level of engineering achieved by the Incas.

At the end of the visit, we will board the tourist train to Aguas Calientes, an approximately 1 hour and 45-minute journey through breathtaking landscapes that combine high jungle, mountains, and rivers.

Upon your arrival, a KANTU PERU TOURS representative will be waiting to accompany you to your hotel.

In the evening, our guide will stop by your accommodation to give you a brief informative briefing with all the important details for your highly anticipated tour to Machu Picchu the next day.

Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Today you will experience one of the most anticipated moments of your trip: the visit to the wonderful citadel of Machu Picchu, also known as the Lost City of the Incas.

An experience that will be etched in your memory forever.

At the agreed time, our guide will pick you up from your hotel to accompany you to the bus station. There we will board the tourist bus which, in an approximately 30-minute journey along a zigzagging mountain road, will take us to the entrance gate of this jewel of the Andean world.

After passing the entrance control, we will begin a guided tour of about 2 hours, during which you will discover the history, mysticism, and architecture of this amazing UNESCO World Heritage Site.

During the visit, you will get to know the most emblematic points of Machu Picchu:

  • The Temple of the Sun
  • The Main Square
  • The Intihuatana Sundial
  • The Temple of the Condor
  • The Temple of the Three Windows, among other corners full of history and energy.

At the end of the guided tour, our guide will leave you at a strategic point from where you can explore on your own, take photographs, and enjoy a unique personal moment in one of the wonders of the world.

Leaving Machu Picchu, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to have lunch at one of the many local restaurants offering exquisite Peruvian gastronomy.

In the afternoon, we will board the return train to Ollantaytambo or Poroy. Upon your arrival, a KANTU PERU TOURS representative will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name to take you back to the city of Cusco. Finally, we will drop you off near the main square, or if you chose the private option, we will drop you off at your respective hotel, culminating a day full of emotions, history, and unforgettable landscapes.

Overnight in Cusco.

The adventure begins very early, with a pick-up from your hotel between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., depending on your location. Once the group is complete, we will begin our journey to the imposing Humantay Lake, one of the most visited natural jewels of Cusco.

For approximately 2 hours, we will travel in our tourist transport until we reach the community of Mollepata, where we will pay the corresponding entrance fee and enjoy a delicious local breakfast before continuing the route.

Subsequently, we will resume the journey for an additional hour on an unpaved road until we reach Soraypampa, the starting point of our hike. Along the way, you can admire mountain landscapes, canyons, cloud forests, and the majestic view of the Salkantay glacier, the second largest in the Cusco region.

From Soraypampa, we will begin a hike of approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes (time may vary depending on each person's pace). The ascent is demanding, more intense than the Rainbow Mountain hike, so it is recommended to advance calmly and make stops to rest and enjoy the scenery.

If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can rent a horse, which will cover about 80% of the journey, leaving only the final, shorter, and easier section to walk to the lake.

Upon reaching Humantay Lake, you will be amazed by the spectacular turquoise color of its waters and the natural environment dominated by the mountains. Here, our guide will share information about the place, and then you will have free time to explore, take photographs, and enjoy the landscape.

After the visit, we will walk back to the parking lot to board our vehicle towards Mollepata, where a comforting buffet lunch awaits us, ideal for recovering energy after the hike.

After lunch, we will start the return journey to Cusco. Our van will take you to the city center or, if you have a private service, directly to your hotel. Arrival is scheduled between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., concluding this unforgettable experience at Humantay Lake.

Join us for an unforgettable experience to the majestic Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), one of the most impressive natural destinations in Peru. The tour begins at 4:00 a.m., when our team will pick you up at your hotel to start this great adventure. During the approximately 2-hour journey to the community of Cusipata, you can rest comfortably in our tourist transport, equipped with all amenities, while enjoying the sunrise over the Andes.

At 5:30 a.m. we will arrive at the community of Cusipata, where a traditional Andean breakfast awaits you, specially prepared to recharge your energy before the ascent. Then, around 6:00 a.m., we will continue for about 45 more minutes by vehicle until we reach the starting point of the hike. Along the way, you will be amazed by the stunning natural landscapes, the high Andean communities, and the snow-capped peaks that dominate the horizon, especially the majestic Ausangate, the highest peak in the Cusco region.

Around 7:30 a.m., our professional guide will provide a brief safety orientation and useful tips for hiking at high altitudes. Then, we will begin an uphill hike of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, advancing at your own pace while contemplating the incomparable beauty of the Andean landscape. Every step will bring you closer to one of the most impressive places in Peru.

By 9:30 a.m. we will reach the top of the Rainbow Mountain, where you will have enough time to admire the fascinating panorama of reddish, green, yellow, and violet tones that cover the landscape. From this point, you will also be able to enjoy the view of the snow-capped Ausangate, an unforgettable visual experience. Our guide will share interesting information about the natural formation of the mountain and the Andean traditions surrounding this mystical place. After enjoying the natural spectacle, at 11:30 a.m. we will begin the gradual descent towards the parking lot to re-board our transport towards Cusipata, where a traditional Andean buffet lunch awaits us. Around 2:30 p.m., you will taste the authentic local flavors prepared with fresh ingredients, ideal for recovering energy after the hike. Afterward, at 3:50 p.m., we will begin the return trip to the city of Cusco, enjoying the Andean landscape along the way. Our arrival is scheduled between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Finally, we will conclude our service by dropping you off near the main square of the city of Cusco. And if you opted for a private service, we will drop you off at your respective hotel.

At approximately 6:00 a.m., our team will pick you up at your hotel to comfortably transfer you to the tourist bus station, where this unforgettable journey to the Peruvian highlands will begin.

Our first stop will be the Andahuaylillas Chapel, a 17th-century architectural jewel known as the "Sistine Chapel of the Andes" for the magnificent beauty of its murals and golden decorations. This colonial temple is a true masterpiece of Andean religious art that will transport you to the past with its unique atmosphere.

We will continue to Raqchi, the imposing Temple of the god Viracocha, the supreme deity of the Inca Empire. Here you can admire a large collection of colcas (Inca storehouses) and contemplate the majestic stone and adobe structures that demonstrate the extraordinary engineering of the Inca civilization.

At noon, you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the La Pascana tourist restaurant, where you can savor the most representative dishes of the local gastronomy in a warm environment surrounded by nature.

Then, the route will take you to La Raya, the highest point of the journey, at more than 4,300 meters above sea level (14,100 ft), where the majestic Andes mountain range and the altiplano meet. Here you can capture stunning photographs of the Andean landscape and feel the pure mountain air.

Our last visit will be the Pukara Museum, the cradle of one of the oldest pre-Inca cultures in the highlands. In this interesting museum, you will discover its fascinating collection of ceramics and zoomorphic sculptures, symbolic representations that reveal the worldview of ancient Andean peoples.

At the end of the tour, you will arrive at the Private Terminal at Avenida Costanera 430 in Puno, where our representative will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you comfortably to your hotel.

A full day that combines history, landscapes, culture, and tradition, making the Route of the Sun a truly unforgettable experience.

Overnight in Puno.

This day you will live an unforgettable journey exploring the majestic Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, a place of dazzling landscapes and ancestral traditions that remain alive to this day.

At 7:30 a.m., our transport will pick you up at your hotel to take you to the port of Puno, where we will board our boat and begin this magical journey.

Our first stop will be at the Floating Islands of the Uros, a set of unique islands built entirely of totora, an aquatic plant that grows abundantly in the lake. Here, your guide will explain the history, culture, and way of life of the Uros, a people who have adapted extraordinarily to their natural environment. You will have free time to walk on the islands, talk with the local inhabitants, and admire how they make their crafts and homes with totora, a tradition that has lasted for generations.

After this enriching visit, we will continue navigating the blue waters of Titicaca towards Taquile Island, a place famous for its impressive landscapes and valuable cultural heritage. We will spend about three hours exploring this charming island, where daily life is governed by ancestral customs and a profound sense of community.

At noon, we will enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant, where you can savor exquisite fresh trout, a specialty of the region. Afterward, you will have free time to walk through its cobblestone streets, visit weaving workshops, and learn about the artisanal skill of the locals, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

In the afternoon, we will begin the return trip by boat to the port of Puno, enjoying the last views of the immense Lake Titicaca along the way.
