Itinerary
Tour Start: 04:30 AM
- Our adventure begins early with a private pickup from your hotel. We will head south toward Puno, traveling for approximately 2.5 hours.
- We will stop in the city of Sicuani to enjoy a delicious breakfast. From there, we take a detour toward Arequipa to reach the picturesque town of Layo, situated on the shores of the stunning Langui-Layo Lagoon.
- After a short drive from Layo, we begin a challenging 1.5 to 2-hour ascent up a steep slope. You will be surrounded by the majestic peaks of Apu Taqllo and Pallay Poncho.
- Upon reaching the summit, you will be rewarded with an incredible contrast between the sharp, multi-colored ridges of the mountain and the deep blue of the Layo Lagoon below. We will have ample time for photos and rest at the viewpoint.
- We will descend back to our private vehicle and begin the journey back, catching final glimpses of the lagoon along the way.
- We will stop again in Sicuani for a well-deserved local lunch before the final drive back to the city.
- Expect to arrive at your hotel in Cusco at approximately 8:00 PM.
