After breakfast, we will begin the tour through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit Pisac, its archaeological site, and its artisan market. Then we will continue to Urubamba, where you will enjoy a buffet lunch with typical flavors of the region.

In the afternoon, you will visit Ollantaytambo, one of the most important living Inca towns in Peru. From there, you will board the train to Aguas Calientes, the town located at the foot of Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, our team will assist you with the transfer to your hotel and provide instructions for the next day’s visit.

This will be one of the most special days of the trip. We will take the tourist bus from Aguas Calientes to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Once inside the citadel, you will have a guided visit through the main permitted sectors according to the assigned circuit and ticket availability.

During the tour, you will learn about the history, architecture, and meaning of this Inca sanctuary. At the end, you will return to Aguas Calientes and then take the train to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will take you back to Cusco.

On this day, you will visit three unique places in the Sacred Valley. First, you will visit Moray, famous for its circular terraces used by the Incas as an agricultural experimentation center. Then you will pass through the town of Maras, known for its colonial streets and rural landscapes.

Finally, you will visit the Maras Salt Mines, a set of thousands of salt ponds that continue to be worked by local families. This experience combines history, living culture, and landscapes perfect for photography.

Very early, we will depart from Cusco toward the Cusipata area, where you will enjoy breakfast before continuing to the starting point of the hike. From there, we will begin the ascent toward Rainbow Mountain.

Along the way, you will see llamas, alpacas, high-Andean communities, mountains, and views of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain. Upon reaching the main viewpoint of Vinicunca, you will have time to take photographs and enjoy one of Peru’s most famous landscapes. Then we will return for lunch and finally head back to Cusco.
