The tour lasts approximately one full day. It starts early in the morning in Cusco and ends in the evening due to the long driving distance and access conditions to the glacier area.

The difficulty is moderate to challenging, mainly because of the altitude, cold weather and long travel distance. Good acclimatization and regular to good physical condition are recommended.
