Itinerary
Our Kantu Peru Tours representative will pass by your hotel at 07:30 hrs. Approximately where we will go with our tourist transport to the port of Puno to board the boats that will take us on this adventure, we will go to the Uros floating islands, where our guide will explain the living culture of this place and then have free time to explore by yourself. Then we will go to the Amantani 2 hours and 30 minutes approximately where we will be welcomed by residents of the area, accompanied by the families we will have a short hike 25 approximately minutes until we get the family houses where we will have typical lunch food of the Zone base on trout after lunch we will settle down and rest to take a walk to the top of the island to see the Inca ceremonial temples "Pachamama and Pachatata" (4038 m.a.s.l). We will appreciate beautiful views of the lake and then descend to the family houses where they can enjoy a delicious dinner with the local people. the families organize an Andean Show where we can dance and wear the local clothing.
We will have a nutritious breakfast prepared with products that the inhabitants work on the island and then we will go to the Amantani port take our boat that will take us to the island of Taquile. Where we will have a walk to the main square from where we can observe the island and learn more about the customs and textiles, we will have free time to enjoy the landscape and have lunch in a restaurant (local food) and then descend to the Taquile port then we will return in our boat to the city when we arrive at the port of Puno our transport will be waiting to take you to your hotel.
