Schedules of Income to Machu Picchu

Did you know that since the beginning of 2019 the entrance to Machu Picchu has varied with respect to the past years?
Now there are 9 entry shifts, one shift every hour, being the first shift at 06:00 hrs and the last at 14:00 hrs, the visitor can stay in the citadel until 4 hours after the time marked on his ticket of income.
In the case of the mountains (Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu), there are 3 schedules for each one, all shifts are in the morning. Unlike the traditional ticket, these give access to the citadel and the respective mountain for a time of 6 hours after the time marked on your entry ticket.
Each schedule has a limited number of ticket entrances, some are more requested than others, and tend to run out. Booking in advance will allow you to choose the type of ticket and the schedule of your choice.

What you should know to visit Machu Picchu

There are 3 types of entrance for Machu Picchu:
Machu Picchu Single: It is the traditional entrance that gives access to Machu Picchu citadel, each schedule has 800 spaces per day and gives access to the citadel for up to four hours after the time of admission.

Machu Picchu + Huayna Picchu: This entrance gives access to the Huayna Picchu Mountain, famous throughout the world, is very requested, for this reason, it is necessary to buy the ticket at least 3 months in advance, especially in high season.
– Entrance to Machu Picchu 06:00 hrs + Huayna Picchu (07:00 to 08:00 hrs)
– Entrance to Machu Picchu 07:00 hrs + Huayna Picchu (07:00 to 08:00 hrs)
– Entrance to Machu Picchu 08:00 hrs + Huayna Picchu (10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.)
Machu Picchu + Machu Picchu Mountain: This entrance gives access to the Machu Picchu Mountain, it is an excellent alternative if the entrance tickets for Huayna Picchu are sold out, to guarantee a place it is necessary to buy the ticket at least 2 weeks in advance, especially in season-high.
