itinerary
The Colca Canyon 1 day tour offers you an excursion through one of the greatest wonders of Peru, the Colca Canyon.
You will travel through the Colca Valley to the Mirador del Condor, where you will witness the flight of this wonderful bird.
Our tour starts from the pick-up from your hotel between 02:30 and 03:00 to start the trip through Yura, the trip will be direct to the “Cruz Del Condor” (approx. 5 hours), stopping only for breakfast. 08:30 approximately arrive at the Cruz del condor from where you can admire one of the deepest canyons in the world and where is the Condor Sanctuary. Back we will stop in the towns of Pinchollo, Maca and Yanque with beautiful colonial churches; as well as the viewpoints of Antahuilque and choquetico from where we can see the graves and models pre Inca and the beautiful landscape of the colca with its impressive terraces. 11:30 aprox. Already in Chivay we will go to the thermal baths. 12: 30 approx. lunch in Chivay and return to Arequipa 13: 30 back we will stop at the viewpoint of volcanoes (highest point 4, 910msnm), in the wetlands of tocra where you can see a diversity of birds wild, herds of alpacas and llamas; pampa Cañahuas observe herds of vicuñas (part of the national reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas) beautiful South American camelid holder of one the finest fibers in the world 17:00 approx. arrival to Arequipa.
